What you'll do

Our Live-in Carer roles in Colchester involve a range of responsibilities, including:

  • Companionship – being a friendly face and providing emotional support
  • Personal Care – assisting with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, and using the bathroom
  • Medication Management – reminding clients to take their medication and collecting prescriptions
  • Mealtimes – preparing healthy meals and assisting with eating
  • Household Duties – maintaining a clean and safe living environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying
  • Errands – accompanying clients on shopping trips and running errands
  • Mobility Support – assisting clients with mobility issues, such as getting in and out of bed or using a wheelchair

What you'll need

To succeed in this role, you'll need a caring and compassionate attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of our clients.

We offer comprehensive training and support to help you develop your skills and confidence in this role.

Where you'll work

You'll work in your local area, but may also be required to travel to clients' homes across the South of England.
