Job Summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Scientist to join their team. As a key member of the Histopathology department, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality pathology service to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine histology, IHC, and special tests
  • Perform microscopy QC and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Work with automated IHC machines and molecular techniques
  • Participate in staff and team development
  • Familiarize yourself with ISO 15189 standards and Health & Safety requirements
