Omega is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering the health and safety vision for the business, including achieving all objectives, developing and implementing all EHS policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- To promote a fully integrated health, safety, and environmental culture with a strong focus on behavioural safety, ensuring compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and legal obligations.
- Develop, implement, and audit EHS plans, policies, and procedures according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- To carry out proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety, and implementation of measures and arrangements identified as necessary from the assessments.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar role, preferably within a high-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Health and Safety management systems, ideally ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, is also essential. Additionally, experience of delivering improvement and implementing a behavioural safety system or creating a culture change is highly desirable.
Proven relevant and current experience in Health, Safety & Environmental practices is required.
