Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team at The Simmance Partnership. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and operating a 'hands-on' supply chain function, encompassing cross-functional working on the execution of day-to-day supply optimization into the UK grocery, health & beauty retail, and pureplay trade channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and operate a 'hands-on' supply chain function, ensuring cross-functional working on the execution of day-to-day supply optimization.
- Identify emerging efficiencies that address shifting, FSA-regulated category needs to ensure the supply chain constantly meets demand and best practice.
- Drive capacity-enhancing projects based on forecasted growth, prioritizing optimization and getting the best out of 3PL and CoMan partnerships.
- Provide critical input to management decision-making, requiring an influential yet highly collaborative style with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance colleagues.
- Deliver success by stopping at nothing, enjoying autonomy and freedom to act in delivering SC fundamentals, with a passion for excellence in supply/demand and an entrepreneurial spirit.
Requirements:
- Experienced Supply Chain Professional with a proven track record in leading and operating a 'hands-on' supply chain function.
- Strong understanding of classical SC principles and ability to drive capacity-enhancing projects based on forecasted growth.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Commercial, Marketing, and Finance colleagues.
- Passion for excellence in supply/demand and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to take ownership and drive results.
