About the Role

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Abingdon Community Support Service, providing support to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, dementia, and other age-related needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality support in all aspects of daily living and personal care, promoting independence and helping individuals achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver support in all aspects of daily living and personal care in a dignified and confidential manner
  • Promote independence and help individuals achieve their aims and goals
  • Collect and transport individuals to and from community activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care and support role is desirable but not essential
  • Full training will be provided for the successful candidate
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
