Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team at Barnes Support Services Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Processing: Assist in processing financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, to ensure timely and accurate payment and receipt of funds.
  • Financial Record Maintenance: Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers and balance sheets, to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Financial Reporting and Budgeting: Help in the preparation of financial reports and budgets to provide insights into our financial performance and inform business decisions.
  • Financial Analysis and Forecasting: Support in conducting financial analysis and forecasting to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Compliance: Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Financial Communication: Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding financial matters to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software to perform financial tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of basic accounting principles to perform financial tasks effectively.
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, and previous experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Financial Regulations: Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards to ensure compliance.
  • Certification: Certification such as CPA, ACCA, ACT, or CFA is a plus.
