Company Overview:
Charles Simon Associates Ltd is seeking a dedicated Field IT Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing on-site technical assistance across various locations.


Role Overview:
This position is primarily field-based, requiring travel to multiple sites within the designated area.


Compensation:
Competitive salary up to £36,000 per annum, along with a company vehicle.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Field IT Support Engineer, your duties will include:

  • Delivering direct face-to-face support to clients on a daily basis.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Multi-Factor Authentication systems.
  • Setting up and managing network printers, as well as assembling PCs and laptops.
  • Identifying potential issues and proactively notifying management as necessary.
  • Collaborating with other IT departments to ensure effective problem resolution and identifying root causes when required.
  • Recommending and executing system upgrades as needed.
  • Completing documentation in a timely manner.
  • Providing training sessions on new systems for end users.
  • Ensuring accuracy in configuration and inventory management database entries.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior experience in a similar role.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Office 365.
  • Experience in Active Directory support.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols including DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN environments is preferred.
  • Experience with iOS and Android devices.
  • Desirable skills in cabling and Wi-Fi setup.
