Fortalice is seeking a dedicated and empathetic individual to support children and young people affected by domestic abuse and violence.
About the Role:The successful candidate will work with children and young people from the Bolton area, providing individual and group support sessions to help them process trauma. This role requires a sound understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Early Help principles.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain supportive relationships with children and young people, ensuring professional boundaries are respected.
- Deliver group work and individual support sessions, adapting to the needs of diverse age ranges.
- Identify and address safeguarding issues, following established procedures.
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly in a domestic abuse context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse communities.
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle with business insurance.
