Job Description

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team in Cambridge. As a Data Engineer, you will work with our team to create solutions that integrate with our products, using your technical expertise to drive business outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining data engineering capabilities
  • Working with colleagues to identify, plan, develop, and deliver data services
  • Ensuring data is managed and analyzed in a secure, efficient, and well-governed manner
  • Implementing and optimizing data pipelines, data modeling, and data availability
  • Collaborating with data architects, TechOps engineers, and other stakeholders to build integrated, high-performing solutions

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a BSc in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related subject, and significant technical experience. You should have experience working with a modern cloud data stack, integration of in-house and vendor-based components, and data modeling. In-depth SQL experience and creative problem-solving skills are also essential.
