We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Kedleston Group Ltd. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the welfare and care of children in our residential home, while also guiding and developing our team of care workers.
Key Responsibilities- Support children aged 9-17 with varying needs, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
- Guide and support the team of care workers to continually grow and shape their experience and practice based on a PACE approach to supporting the learning and social and emotional wellbeing of children.
- Be responsible for staff recruitment, induction, supervision, and training.
- Lead shifts and plan rotas, ensuring placement and health plans, policies, procedures, and risk assessments are followed and education is supported.
- Build and role model positive relationships with colleagues and foster a culture of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring that every child's needs are met.
- Competitive rates of pay based on your experience, increasing in line with service and performance.
- A programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which includes a personalised development plan based on your individual aspirations and learning objectives.
- Sponsorship and support to achieve the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare.
