We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to join our team as Associate Director, Data Management. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our strategic vision by leveraging data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance healthcare services and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the Business Intelligence Unit, overseeing its strategic development and daily management, including analytics, data warehousing, clinical coding, and forecasting.
- Oversee resource management and planning, ensuring the business intelligence function supports the execution of strategy effectively.
- Champion data quality, ensuring all data-related processes adhere to high standards, and develop strategies for improving data accuracy and reliability across the organization.
- Respond to regulatory requirements, ensuring the business intelligence function delivers timely, accurate, and comprehensive responses to regulatory bodies.
- Educated to Master's level or beyond in a relevant discipline (e.g. Mathematics / Statistics / Business Information Systems) or equivalent work experience.
- Proven leadership capabilities in engaging with staff to produce a highly-motivated, highly capable team and working closely with customer stakeholders to understand their requirements.
- Extensive experience of working at a senior level in a Business Intelligence role, encompassing a range of disciplines, ideally within the NHS.
- Experience in developing or supporting development of organisational strategy or policy.
- Significant demonstrable management and leadership (budgetary, staff and resource management) ability at a senior level.
