Job Overview

Belcan is seeking a highly skilled BIM Information Manager to join our team of professionals delivering high-quality project outputs. This hybrid role requires one day in the office per week and offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in BIM management.

As a BIM Information Manager, you will be responsible for delivering federated 3D models and linked BIM data, including COBie. You will also conduct model validation checks and coordination reviews, mentor early career professionals, and improve departmental capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement BIM delivery strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and procedures.
  • Set up and maintain the Common Data Environment, ensuring seamless collaboration and data management.
  • Support BIM courses and seminars, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices within the team.
  • Prepare enquiry plans, tender reviews, and scopes of work, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
  • Validate modelling geometry and data, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Chair BIM Coordination meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration among team members.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator, Information Manager, or Technician, with a strong understanding of ISO19650, PAS1192, and COBie data delivery.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to mentor and train early career professionals.
  • Proficiency in Navisworks/Solibri for clash detection and coordination reviews, with a strong understanding of BIM software environments.
