As a Clinical Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to lead our clinical staff in delivering exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a passionate and experienced full-time Clinical Team Leader position in our Residential Home.
Main duties of the role:
- Provide leadership to all staff in all aspects of the operations of the facility.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the smooth running of the facility.
- Lead and mentor a team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development.
- Supervise and manage all care staff.
- Identify underperforming staff members and develop performance improvement plans (PIPs) tailored to address specific areas of concern. Provide necessary training and support to help staff meet performance expectations and improve their skills.
- Provide oversight of quality assurance and improvement practices for the team, and education as needed.
- Facilitate communication between residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
- Manage complaints from residents, families of residents, and staff; record and document all complaints.
- Liaise with allied health professionals as required to ensure care provisions.
- Relevant nursing qualifications with AHPRA registration.
- Proven experience in aged care residential settings.
- Previous clinical experience in a Memory Support unit with complex dementia.
