The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the nursing teams in the Emergency Department, ensuring seamless communication and effective management of patient care needs. As an experienced nurse, they will coordinate activities, provide support to qualified and unqualified staff, and act as a role model promoting quality evidence-based practice.
Main Responsibilities
The jobholder will work closely with the Lead Nurse to manage the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department, coordinating the smooth running of the department on a shift-by-shift basis. They will also be responsible for the ongoing development of a team of nurses, working with a wide range of professionals, including medical, nursing, and management colleagues.

- Registered Nurse - Level 1
- Recognised teaching/assessing qualification
