About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled Supplier Development Engineer to join our team at Aggreko, a global leader in providing energy solutions. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective onboarding of suppliers and products, as well as managing supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supplier Onboarding: Support the selection of suitable suppliers for the business, ensuring they meet our quality and performance standards.
- Supplier Audits: Participate in audits and information reviews to identify and mitigate risks related to supplier onboarding.
- Supplier Performance Management: Assess and report on supplier performance, developing and improving it as needed to ensure a strong level of performance and compliance.
- Supply Chain Risk Management: Analyze supplier-related performance data to identify risks in the supply chain, coordinating improvement activities to reduce these risks.
- Change Control and Compliance: Support change control activities resulting from adjustments to design, manufacture, or materials, coordinating PPAP activities, organizing evidence of compliance, and obtaining product approvals.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience working in supplier development and supplier auditing in a technical/engineering environment.
- Certification: ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor is desirable.
- Driving License: A full, clean, and valid driving license is required for travel to supplier sites.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.
