Job Title: Child Psychology Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Child Psychology Specialist to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. As a Child Psychology Specialist, you will work with pupils aged 5-11 in a supportive and inclusive Primary School environment.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of Educational Psychology and preferably have past experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Excellent communication skills and a passion for impacting the lives of young people are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to support their educational and personal development.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to support children with SEN, in collaboration with the school's SEN team.
  3. Provide emotional support and guidance to pupils, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  4. Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  1. A good understanding of Educational Psychology and its application in a Primary School setting.
  2. Experience working with children with SEN, either in a school or out-of-school environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other support staff.
  4. A passion for improving the lives and education of children aged 5-11.
