About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to lead our community general adult psychiatry team. As a Clinical Lead Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, managing priorities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership to a multi-disciplinary team
- Manage priorities and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement clinical governance policies and procedures
- Supervise junior medical staff and provide educational supervision
- Contribute to research and audit projects
- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCPsych or recognised equivalent
- Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician approval
- Experience of carrying out an audit project and involvement in a research project
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
