About the Role:
To oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing care and support to residents in a nursing home, enhancing their overall quality of life.
To provide professional leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring they have the necessary support and resources to excel in their roles.
To act as a key point of contact for residents and their families, providing expert advice and support to address their needs and concerns.
To collaborate with the nursing care manager to develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for residents.
To take on additional responsibilities as required, such as acting for the manager/deputy manager in their absence, and contributing to the overall management of the nursing home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the nursing care and support to residents in a manner that enhances the quality of their life.
- Provide professional leadership and support to the nursing team.
- Ensure professional support to residents and relatives.
- Assist the Manager/Deputy Manager and act for him/her in their absence over a full range of duties.
- Take particular responsibility for an area of work as agreed with the Nursing Care Manager.
