Müller UK & Ireland is a leading dairy company with a strong presence in the UK market. We are seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join our Flavoured Milk department at our Müller Severnside site in Gloucester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production staff to ensure the smooth running of operations, delivery of the daily production plan, and achievement of performance targets. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring legal compliance procedures and relevant company policies are followed.
  • Demonstrating and promoting the company values and principles.
  • Consistently following the company disciplinary, grievance and attendance management procedures.
  • Managing the performance of the Flavoured Milk team and achieving 100% completion of "Job chats" with all relevant staff.
  • Actively managing employee coaching, training and development to provide effective succession planning and develop a high-performing team.
  • Ensuring that all asset care and start-up tasks are effectively carried out.
  • To effectively manage performance using the defined short interval control procedure.
  • Working with the Engineering Planner to ensure equipment is compliant.
  • Coaching and leading PLFM teams to achieve daily performance targets.
  • Influencing all customer-facing staff to represent the business positively in terms of service, appearance, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Leading site teams to meet customer specifications and requirements.
  • Contributing to the achievement of internal and external audit accreditation.
  • Ensuring the right product at the right time, first time for Filling Hall production.
  • Creating and enabling the team to seek out improvement opportunities within the workplace and converting them to own OPEX projects aligned to site business plan.
