The Shared Services Partnership is dedicated to enhancing the welfare of children and families with social care needs. Our Sufficiency Service encompasses a dynamic Category Management Team focused on procuring high-quality placements for children and young individuals.
We are in search of a Commissioning and Commercial Services Officer to facilitate the provision of exceptional services within the Independent Fostering Agency sector. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring that category expenditures yield optimal value while commissioning effective and quality services for children, ensuring they are accessible at the right time and place.
In this role, you will engage in contract and stakeholder management, as well as support procurement and purchasing processes through compliant methodologies. You will have the opportunity to develop your public sector knowledge, skills, and experience throughout the commissioning and contract management lifecycle.
Successful candidates will possess strong organizational abilities, proficient IT skills, and familiarity with the MS Office suite. Experience in operational commissioning and/or procurement is advantageous, along with a solid understanding of Public Procurement Regulations.
We seek individuals who are confident, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement. Building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders will be crucial, alongside a keen attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities to address day-to-day challenges.
