SEN Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at a vibrant and expanding SEN school in Barking and Dagenham. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting students with special educational needs and will be able to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the RoleThe SEN Teacher will be responsible for teaching a mixed KS2 class with a focus on sensory-based learning and speech and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with Autism and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD) and will be able to adapt their teaching to meet the needs of pupils working at P levels.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a mixed KS2 class with a focus on sensory-based learning and speech and communication skills
- Work with students with Autism and Severe Learning Disabilities (SLD)
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils working at P levels
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
The successful candidate will have:
