We are seeking a Campaign Strategist to become an integral part of our dedicated team. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Campaigns and spearhead the planning and execution of initiatives aimed at promoting the construction of new clean energy, transportation, and housing projects across the UK.
About Britain Remade
Britain Remade is a bipartisan advocacy group committed to clean growth. We recognize that a significant barrier to progress in the UK is the complexity involved in developing the new clean energy sources, transportation infrastructure, and housing necessary for economic growth and achieving net-zero emissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Campaigns and the broader team to design, implement, and oversee campaigns aimed at influencing policy changes.
- Expand and cultivate our supporter base.
- Lead the organization of events, including town hall meetings that support clean infrastructure initiatives.
- Generate and manage digital content for our social media platforms.
- Oversee political outreach efforts, focusing on establishing connections with government officials, advisors, and Members of Parliament.
Qualifications
Essential:
- A strong passion for advancing the UK economy and facilitating the development of clean energy, transportation, and housing.
- A proven history of executing impactful campaigns that drive change.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid political acumen and a comprehensive understanding of the UK political landscape.
- Experience in managing social media channels effectively.
- A collaborative team player who can assist colleagues as needed.
- Experience in engaging with stakeholders, particularly in political contexts.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with key policy areas related to housing, transportation, and energy, as well as their interaction with the planning system.
- Experience with online content management systems.
- Knowledge of CRM systems, such as NationBuilder.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will be highly self-driven, with a keen interest in UK politics and a commitment to facilitating the construction of new clean infrastructure and housing.
They will be motivated by the belief that addressing climate change effectively requires accelerating the development of the clean infrastructure that the UK needs, and they will be eager to support the government in achieving these objectives in a sustainable manner.
