Greenpeace UK Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative campaigner to join our Politics Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK political scene and excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading environmental organisation and contribute to our mission to protect the planet. As a campaigner, you will help us monitor and analyse political opportunities in the UK to win campaigns.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Advise campaigners on the development and implementation of political strategies.
- Lobby for our projects and help develop policy positions in key campaign areas.
- Advocate for agreed policies to political audiences and in the media.
- Research, intel-gathering, and networking to maximise the impact of our political tactics.
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge and interest in UK politics, including experience of working with Parliamentary processes.
- Experience of political lobbying at a national or international level.
- Ability to work constructively and effectively with other team members.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
