Key Responsibilities

  • Support the leadership team in overseeing the Core Subject team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality educational services.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track progress towards educational goals.
  • Design and implement learner-focused teaching and assessment strategies that enhance retention, achievement, and progression.
  • Deliver a variety of courses to a standard that meets or exceeds regulatory expectations.
  • Adhere to all protocols related to qualifications and examinations, including necessary registrations and communications with relevant authorities.
  • Comply with safeguarding policies to ensure the safety and well-being of all learners.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualifications to teach from Entry Level to Level 3 in Maths and/or English.
  • A relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g., QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE).
  • An NPQ or equivalent management qualification, either completed or in progress.

Work Environment

This position is based within a correctional facility, requiring a commitment to work in a secure environment during standard business hours.
