Project Manager - Automation

We are working with a leading supplier of automated systems and solutions to recruit for their new Project Manager - Automation. In this role, you will lead and manage projects ensuring their delivery, including:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and deliver various projects to customer satisfaction, ensuring on-time and under-budget completion.
  • Manage documentation such as budgets, schedules, risk registers, and change management.
  • Guide the project team, mentor resources, and manage coordination across departments (design, electrical, software, etc.).
  • Proactively identify risks and issues, planning resolutions ahead of time.
  • Define milestones, allocate resources, ensure adherence to the plan, and maintain up-to-date project documentation.
  • Oversee concept validation, coordinate technical departments, manage build teams, and supervise machine installation and commissioning.
Requirements:
  • Experience in capital equipment engineering systems / automation.
  • Strong project management skills including ability to manage multiple projects and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Commercial awareness with experience in contracts and budgeting.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
