Project Officer Job Description

Portglenone Enterprise Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Officer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our Portglenone Community Partnership project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of strategic objectives for Portglenone Community Partnership.
  • Establish relationships and communication channels with community groups, promoting full participation from stakeholders.
  • Maintain a work programme for the project and provide regular reports to the Portglenone Enterprise Group Directors.
  • Contribute to project financial planning, working closely with the Finance Officer and project groups to ensure spend is in line with the project budget.
  • Oversee and support sessional/casual staff to deliver activities, training, and workshops.
  • Provide advice and support to community groups on governance, project promotion, volunteer recruitment, and project design.
  • Secure maximum participation in programmes to meet targets through marketing and promotion.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to ensure signposting of opportunities for support and engagement.
  • Assist with project proposals, planning, and inter-group activities.
  • Monitor and track progress, escalating any issues with the line manager.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant initiatives and forums to support integrated working.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic Access NI check. Applications must be submitted before the deadline.
