About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant in Tesco Ireland. As a Customer Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting, acknowledging, and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Restock shelves, maintain store displays, and ensure that the store is clean and tidy at all times.
  • Assist with stockroom tasks, including receiving and storing stock, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive shopping environment.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and business objectives by suggesting and implementing ideas to improve customer service and sales.
