About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager, Product Security to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our Product team, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap for our security products.

You will work closely with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of your product as part of our wider business strategy. Your expertise in Cyber Security Concepts & Fundamentals will be essential in understanding key user personas, customers, and stakeholders for the product and their pain points.

You will be responsible for:

  • Evolving and driving the product vision, strategy, and the long-term roadmap
  • Proactively partnering with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of your product as part of the wider business strategy
  • Understanding key user personas, customers, and stakeholders for the product and their pain points
  • The performance/adoption of the product and work towards achieving the Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Prioritizing work and decisively resolving trade-offs with peers and senior leaders
  • Effectively documenting and explaining new requirements to the engineering team using user stories with acceptance criteria and helping the team in breaking down complex work into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster
  • Steering sprint/release planning sessions by working with the engineering counterparts to plan sprints/releases that deliver maximum business value in least effort
  • Driving the acceptance and adoption of ideas and improvements with product teams and engineering stakeholders
  • Prioritizing, coordinating, and communicating the resolution of live product issues independently
  • Providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams on short-term tasks/near-term priorities
  • Being the subject matter expert for X building on your history of delivering value to customers within this product area

You will work closely with:

  • Members of the broader Product team (Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Researchers)
  • Security Engineers & Security Analysts and other partners within the Cyber Security team
  • Engineers & Data Scientists and other partners in Technology
  • Business stakeholders across Tesco
