Job Summary:

The Burford Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Front of House Ambassador. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming experience for all who enter our offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception:
    • Provide a professional and friendly welcome to all visitors and clients
    • Maintain a clean and tidy reception area, ensuring it is well-stocked with literature and materials
    • Ensure the meeting room is prepared and ready for clients and visitors, including setting up tables, refreshing water, and providing clean glasses
    • Handle incoming and outgoing post and orders in a timely and efficient manner
    • Deliver exceptional client care, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Facilities:
    • Liaise with suppliers to ensure office supplies and equipment are maintained and replenished as needed
    • Arrange for maintenance and renovations as required, working closely with the Practice Manager/Operations Director
    • Liaise with security companies to ensure fire and security alarms are functioning properly and arrange for repairs when necessary
    • Ensure kitchen and bathroom facilities are well-stocked and maintained
    • Manage the franking machine and update funds as required
    • Assist the Practice Manager/Operations Director with other tasks related to facilities and operations

Requirements:

  • Strong and engaging communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, able to see tasks through to completion
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a professional services environment
  • Experience with CRM systems would be an advantage, but full training will be provided
