About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our end-to-end supply planning capability. As a Capability Owner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a demand planning and forecasting process that drives business growth and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of a demand planning and forecasting process that aligns with Waters Corporation's business objectives.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional team of subject-matter experts to drive process improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with functional leaders across functions and sites to develop a deep understanding of current processes and systems.
  • Identify best practices to be adopted into current business processes and create a prioritized roadmap of changes to be introduced.
  • Design and validate proposed changes, leveraging data science approaches to drive business value.
  • Deploy new processes and functionality, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Measure adoption and adherence, executing interventions to drive increased adoption and adherence where necessary.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders outside of Global Operations to ensure alignment with the overall enterprise, including master data governance and enterprise IT systems.
  • Develop and attract best-in-class talent to drive business excellence.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, finance, or operations, including working knowledge of one or more specific areas, such as demand planning or finance.
  • Experience building and managing cross-functional teams to drive process improvement and innovation.
  • Process discovery, design, and implementation experience, with a strong understanding of SAP capabilities, specifically SAP ECC and APO DP.
  • Experience designing and deploying SAP-based processes and functionality, with a focus on user experience best practices.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience creating and executing multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to work across organizational boundaries driving change and harmonization across a global organization.
  • Collaborative, with a strong ability to listen and assimilate other viewpoints to drive better solutions.
  • Agile and responsive, with the ability to handle multiple priorities, act with urgency, and manage ambiguity.
  • Customer-centric, with a strong ability to understand customer requirements and drive business value.
  • Results-oriented, with a proven track record of solving problems, breaking down barriers, and delivering results ahead of schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and drive business outcomes.
  • ASCM certification a plus, with experience with SAP APO DP or IBP and Celonis also highly valued.
  • BSc Degree or equivalent in an Engineering, Science, or Supply Chain discipline, with a Master's Degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
