Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead shifts and provide guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Assist with recruitment, supervision, meetings, and inspections
  • Support children to achieve their full potential and develop life skills
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Participate in on-call rota and provide emergency support as needed

Requirements:

  • Patience, compassion, and resilience in working with children who may have experienced trauma
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driving license and ability to drive children to appointments and activities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and on-call duties
  • Desirable: qualification in residential childcare or willingness to obtain within 2 years
