Job Summary:
CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and fabric maintenance on a static site in Edinburgh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor mechanical plant and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on pumps, motors, seals, bearings, air conditioning units, and water treatment systems
- Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance, including unblocking toilets and replacing taps and washers
- Monitor Building Management System (BMS) systems and perform basic electrical duties
- Carry out general building fabric maintenance and repairs
- Escort specialist subcontractors as required
Requirements:
- Mechanical qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled with good communication skills
- Able to gain Enhanced DBS
- Highly desirable: any further qualifications, such as electrical or air conditioning
Benefits:
- Competitive salary up to £40,000 depending on experience and qualifications
