About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at FCC Environment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing scheduled maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown activities to our mechanical equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and perform routine, scheduled, and major repairs on all site mechanical, pressure, and lifting systems
- Assist in the coordination and planning of maintenance activities
- Identify, develop, and deliver maintenance techniques and procedures
- Test and calibrate mechanical systems and field equipment
- Manage all work associated with departmental activities on site
- Provide close technical support to Operations and other site teams

Requirements

- Comprehensive experience in preventative maintenance and defect repair/interrogation on process-related mechanical equipment
- Full understanding of P&IDs and mechanical drawings, and the ability to read electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and isometric diagrams
- City and Guilds/NVQ level 3 in a Mechanical Engineering discipline (qualifications below this level may be acceptable if accompanied by suitable experience)
