Eating Disorders Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Adult Community Eating Disorders Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with severe and complex eating disorders in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with service users, carers, and other professionals.
- Provide medical monitoring and intensive support to service users, including physical examinations, investigations, and ECGs.
- Work closely with therapists and dietitians to support service users in engaging with intensive treatment and preventing hospital admissions.
- Develop and implement risk management plans to ensure the safe management and referral of individuals presenting with escalating risks.
- Support the safe engagement of service users with virtual intensive treatments.
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse with post-qualification training in psychosocial interventions.
- Experience in working with individuals with severe and enduring mental illness, including those presenting with high risk requiring assessment and management under the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.
- Ability to travel between sites to deliver services from various community bases across the county.
