Job Title: Senior Social Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our team at HCRG Workforce Solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for working with children and families on Children in Need (CiN) and Child Protection plans, as well as initial work on care proceedings and s20.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with children and families to assess their needs and develop plans to support them.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare workers, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the child's needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the child's needs and promote their well-being.
  • Work with the court system to ensure that the child's needs are represented and that their rights are protected.
  • Provide support and guidance to families to help them understand their child's needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience as a social worker.
  • Experience working with children and families on Children in Need (CiN) and Child Protection plans.
  • Experience working with the court system and developing care plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
