About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EHS Advisor to join our team at Alstom, a leading global player in the rail industry. As an EHS Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting multiple projects across various sites, ensuring compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on EHS matters to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop associated controls to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance, including KPIs and other indicators.
  • Lead and coordinate project accident investigations and near misses.
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs for project teams.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure EHS compliance.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with ISO14001, ISO45001, and OHSAS/HSG 65 standards.
  • Knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation and railway-specific standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
