We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton St. Annes Manor, Wokingham. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Located in a stunning 25-acre property, our hotel offers a unique blend of luxury and tranquility, just 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. With 170 bedrooms and 8 meeting rooms, we cater to a diverse range of guests, from business travelers to leisure seekers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient service and high-quality food
  • Monitor inventory, manage supplies, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and menus
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a similar hotel or restaurant environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
