IT Support Specialist

Magdalen College School is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic IT AV Technician to join our team. As an IT AV Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for staff and pupils, as well as maintaining an optimally working user computing environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and support the School's AV equipment, including setting up and troubleshooting for School events.
- Monitor and process the IT helpdesk system to ensure timely and effective support.
- Deploy and maintain software to school PCs, ensuring key hardware devices are available to end-users.
- Assist with or take responsibility for other projects as required by the Director of IT or other members of the IT department.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to take on responsibility and ensure results are to the satisfaction of all key stakeholders.
- Ability to work well with staff and pupils, with a positive approach to the role.
- Experience working with Microsoft products in a school or enterprise-level environment is desirable.
- Ability to support Apple devices and administer Office 365 is also desirable.
