About Our Client

Our client is a leading global engineering, repair, and logistics company serving the communications industry. They are rapidly expanding and require additional resources in the UK to manage current and upcoming IT projects across their most proficient division.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex international software projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Support the entire project life cycle, from cost estimation to operation.
  • Develop and create project scope and detailed project plans in collaboration with technical experts and business departments.
  • Plan, monitor, and report on the entire project lifecycle, including resources, budget, scope, schedules, and milestones.
  • Manage all project stakeholders, including internal and external customers, suppliers, and developers.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Ensure team members have a clear understanding of project status and work cohesively towards shared objectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and organize kick-off sessions, meetings, and workshops.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in a computer-related subject or relevant experience.
  • Degree or diploma in project management or relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in managing technical interdisciplinary teams.
  • Practical knowledge of managing budgets.
  • Certifications and/or experience in Scrum, IPMA, PMI, Prince2, Design Thinking, or similar.
  • Professional experience in planning, implementation, and management of complex software/web projects.
  • Technical background with hands-on experience in web technologies.
  • Familiarity with integrating web applications with SAP.
  • Experience in project management according to hybrid approaches.
  • Conceptual and analytical thinking skills, assertiveness, and strong understanding of processes.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • High sense of quality and responsibility, independent thinking, and acting.
  • Ability to communicate project details confidently.
