Factory Manager

Are you a seasoned professional in the manufacturing sector, such as a Factory Manager, Production Supervisor, Engineering Lead, Operations Coordinator, or Warehouse Supervisor? We are seeking a proactive individual to take on a pivotal role in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the establishment of production lines
  • Manage the loading and unloading of goods
  • Operate Fork Lift Trucks as required
  • Ensure quality control throughout the production process
  • Schedule staff rotas, performance reviews, and holidays
  • Conduct stock management and inventory checks
  • Perform health and safety inspections of the facility

Production Operations Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of production personnel and temporary staff
  • Design and implement production schedules to fulfill customer requirements
  • Track production metrics and initiate corrective measures to achieve objectives
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery

Training and Development:

  • Educate production staff on standard operating procedures and safety measures
  • Assist in resolving equipment issues
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, cost savings, and waste reduction
  • Apply Lean manufacturing techniques to streamline production workflows

Ensure adherence to all safety standards and organizational policies. The role requires strong leadership and team management capabilities, along with flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities. A forklift license is advantageous.

Compensation: Competitive salary of GBP45,000 with opportunities for professional advancement.
