Swim Team Leader Job Description

At Sporting House, we're seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Swim Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our swimming team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the safe provision of our learn-to-swim programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the safety of our swimming lesson provision and deliver high-quality, themed learn-to-swim lessons to children and adults.
  • Provide lifeguard duties for learn-to-swim lessons and ensure the safe provision of all equipment usage, storage, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer care to every swimmer and family member in and out of the water.
  • Help maintain the facility to a high standard at all times by ensuring the centre is clean and safe for all users and staff.
  • Be a positive role model for young people, encouraging them to reach their full swimming potential.
Requirements:
  • Fully funded training and qualifications provided (existing qualifications are a bonus).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer service focused, with a determined and committed approach to quality of standards and cleanliness.
  • Perseverance and patience to encourage and put people at ease.
