We are seeking an Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to join our Worcestershire Family Safeguarding Service. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with social workers to promote the welfare of children and young people, while supporting families to address challenges and risk factors.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based mental health and psychological interventions to adults, utilizing Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to promote emotional health and wellbeing.
- Work in partnership with social workers to identify and address vulnerabilities, including domestic abuse, mental illness, and substance use.
- Develop and implement trauma-informed approaches to support families, recognizing the need to work from a strength-based perspective.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, including domestic abuse survivor practitioners, domestic abuse perpetrator practitioners, and substance use recovery workers.
