About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Emergency Care Practitioner to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. As an Emergency Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Urgent and Emergency Care department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose patients presenting to the Adult Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement effective management plans in line with local guidelines
  • Provide advanced clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Engage in continuous professional development and share experience with the wider team
  • Practice at a high level of clinical expertise and demonstrate clear communication and management plans
Requirements
  • Proven track record in Urgent/Emergency care, leadership, and change management
  • Experience in working in an Urgent care or Emergency Department setting
  • Registered Health Care Professional with NMC/HCPC/Registration
  • Teaching Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Autonomous practice course systems based and injury and illness
