Job Summary

Oasis Academy Lord's Hill is seeking a dynamic and inspiring middle leader to take responsibility for ensuring an excellent standard of behaviour, attendance, and personal development. The successful candidate will be required to teach all abilities across KS3 and KS4 in their specialist subject area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of teachers to achieve academic excellence and improve student outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver high-quality curriculum programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing targeted interventions to support student achievement.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their practice and enhance student learning.
  • Contribute to the development of the Academy's strategic plan and implement initiatives to improve student outcomes.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of academic leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent teaching and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire students and staff.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Commitment to the Oasis ethos and values, with a strong desire to improve student outcomes and contribute to the success of the Academy.
