Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor (Chinook)

Job Type: Rolling - ongoing contract

Salary: £35 an hour + overtime available

Job Overview:

Indotronix Avani UK Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team. As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing forward support delivering primary maintenance, leading the assembly, disassembly, and modification of systems, and overseeing component change, removal, replacement, or upgrade to correct failures or implement changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide forward support delivering primary maintenance.
  • Lead the assembly, disassembly, and modification of systems, overseeing component change, removal, replacement, or upgrade to correct failures or implement changes.
  • Direct troubleshooting of assembly, disassembly, and modification or repair of Ch47 aircraft primary structures and complex aircraft systems.
  • Oversee validation/verification testing of systems and components.
  • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Inspect components and verify repairs for flightworthiness requirements.
  • Lead and supervise others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle.
  • Provide training and mentorship to others. Work under minimal direction.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working on Military Aircraft, preferably with familiarity with the Chinook specifications and drawings.
  • Experience supervising a team of aircraft technicians.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience working with limited supervision.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Security Clearance:

Applicants must be capable of obtaining a UK security clearance (SC) as UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
