Role Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of high-net-worth individuals with intricate tax matters, focusing on Landed Estates, agricultural clients, entrepreneurs, Partnerships, and Trusts.
  • Collaborate with Partners and Directors on tax planning strategies, including succession planning through trusts and corporate structures, while addressing capital gains and inheritance tax challenges.
  • Coordinate with various service lines to ensure comprehensive client service delivery.
  • Supervise compliance and advisory tasks performed by junior team members.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for new business.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional development.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Significant experience in a professional services environment with a robust understanding of private client tax issues.
  • Proven ability to convey complex tax concepts clearly to clients and ask insightful questions.
  • Experience in managing tax planning and compliance projects effectively.
  • Strong people management and organizational skills.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser - ACA / CTA.
