Temporary Cleaner Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Temporary Cleaner to provide cover for long-term sickness at Norwich Market Place. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and ensures public spaces are clean and welcoming.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Litter picking and maintaining the cleanliness of Norwich Market Place
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of public toilets
  • De-weeding and ensuring the general tidiness of the area
  • Providing friendly and professional interaction with the public
Additional Hours:
  • 17.5 hours spread over 3 days, providing general support to the Norwich cleaning team across various locations
  • Duties will vary weekly but may include cleaning public areas of sheltered housing schemes, cleaning public buildings, cleaning void properties, and cleaning sheltered housing
Requirements:
  • Must be available between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM
  • A valid driver's license is required
  • A basic DBS check will be conducted
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable and experienced in dealing with the public
