Job Summary:

Manpower UK - RISE is seeking a highly skilled Freight Forwarding Operations Coordinator to join our Air Freight and multimodal transport team. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for managing import and export shipments from start to finish, ensuring the highest level of service and meeting all KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate worldwide multimodal imports and exports, including collections, airline bookings, and liaising with overseas agents/customers until delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand requirements and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Process import/export documentation, including AWB's and BOL's, and obtain customs details for in-house clearance.
  • Liaise with supply chain partners to obtain quotations, pricing, and invoicing for clients.
  • Arrange and book courier shipments, including track and trace updates to the in-house TMS system.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in freight forwarding.
  • Dangerous Goods training is beneficial.
  • Experience with both import and export freight forwarding.
  • Enthusiasm, ambition, self-motivation, and a desire to develop and progress.
  • Experience handling all aspects of air import/export operations, back-to-back shipments, consols, and DG shipments.
