Job Title: Operations Executive

About the Role:

The Operations Executive will lead operational support teams delivering exceptional staff, facility, and technical solutions to in-house and independent programme makers. As part of the Operations management team, the role will set and deliver strategic business objectives that maximize resource utilization in tandem with staff training and development across Operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage operational support teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Drive key financial objectives on staff and freelance utilization to optimize resource allocation.
  • Attract and retain multi-platform business by providing innovative solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Deliver strategic business objectives to the Operations Management team, aligning with the BBC's overall goals.
  • Develop and implement training objectives to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a track record of success.
  • Knowledge of television and radio technology workflows, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Experience working in a commercial environment, with a strong understanding of business operations.
  • Ability to offer strategic solutions to meet changing business needs, with a customer-centric approach.
