Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role is structured as a permanent position, requiring 36.5 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours and an early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchasing activities, including demand forecasting, price comparison, generating purchase orders, overseeing international imports, and handling general administrative tasks as needed.
  • Develop and maintain effective supplier relationships to enhance pricing, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Implement a strategic approach to align with the organization’s objectives regarding cost efficiency, service quality, and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with various departments and the supply chain to support product development from a procurement viewpoint, overseeing new purchasing initiatives.
  • Provide assistance to fellow procurement team members during peak workload periods and in instances of absence.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong time management and relationship-building skills, alongside effective communication abilities across various organizational levels and disciplines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, and familiarity with MRP systems is preferred, with experience in Efacs being a beneficial asset.
